ABOUT THE POSITION:

The Commercial Lines Account Manager partners with our Account Executives to provide efficient and supportive services to our clients. This includes reviewing policy changes, reporting and managing claims, negotiating renewal terms to ensure policies meet all underwriting requirements.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • 8-10 years’ commercial lines experience
  • Work closely with Account Executives and TSR
  • Successfully negotiate and process renewals
  • Create Submission and Remarket
  • E&O/D&O renewal applications out
  • Process claims & follow up
  • Invoicing and maintaining account receivables

The job is to:

  • Retain clients through strong relationship management skills by exceeding expectations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly with a solutions focused mindset to claim inquiries providing claims counselling when appropriate and reports to the insurance company by following the internal claim procedure.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of new and existing products and current market conditions to educate and introduce new products by reading company emails, attending in house company meetings, webinars and internal department meetings.
  • Encourage clients to use added value services – i.e. commercial and financial services
  • Provide client change information to the insurer and adhere to the company’s binding period.
  • Clearly communicate with all stakeholders in order to ensure clarity, provide optimum customer satisfaction, internal team cohesiveness and decrease risk of E&O.
  • Review renewals with clients, verify updates and discounts are applied, correct coverage is in place and premium is satisfactory or remarket to an alternate carrier.
  • Update TAM data base per internal SOP and collect up-to date contact information on clients by confirming client detail information on database.

Personal Insurance Technical Service Representative

We’re looking for a Personal Lines Technical Service Representative (TSR) to join our team. This foundational role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to support a fast-paced, client-focused environment. Whether you’re already in insurance support or transitioning from another administrative field, we’ll provide the tools, mentorship, and structure to help you succeed.

What You’ll Do

As a TSR, you’ll play a vital behind-the-scenes role supporting our Personal Lines brokers and clients. From day one, you’ll take on real responsibilities that keep our operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure Policy Accuracy

  • Review New Business applications to confirm risk alignment and complete documentation.
  • Upload New Business and Endorsements to carrier portals.
  • Process policy changes, cancellations, and reinstatements with precision.
  • Contact insurer help lines to resolve portal issues or premium discrepancies.
  • Prepare and send client communications (e.g., New Business, Endorsements, Billing Notices, Cancellations).
  • Order AutoPlus and MVR reports.

Maintain Clean Records

  • Accurately update client files in our Broker Management System, following established workflows.

Support the Team

  • Assist CSRs with daily tasks and provide backup during peak periods or vacations.

Coordinate with Partners

  • Communicate with insurers, adjusters, and third parties to resolve inquiries efficiently.

Deliver Front-Line Support

  • Provide backup reception coverage, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience for clients.

Protect Client Data

  • Handle confidential information with integrity and maintain organized, accessible file systems.

Contribute to Growth

  • Participate in training, share knowledge, and suggest process improvements.
